Aviara Golf Club
Opened in 1991, Aviara Golf Club offers not only spectacular views but an amazing game of golf as well.
This Southern California golf course is located just a mile away from San Diego making it the model course for
accessibility. Because the course is situated on the top of a valley you will have views of the Batiquitos Lagoon and
panoramic shots of the Pacific Ocean from just about every hole. However, don't spend too much time taking pictures, the
afternoon breezes off the ocean require that you concentrate on every shot. In addition to the sudden and unplanned sea
breeze the overall layout of the course creates some tough shots on its own. Although tricky at times you will soon forget

In 1997, the Four Seasons Golf Resort Aviara in Carlsbad was added to the course. With the resort came all the amenities and luxuries you would expect from a Four Seasons. The clubhouse at Avaira is a luxurious 32,000 square feet. Located inside are a pro-shop, upscale locker rooms, sauna and showers as well as complimentary shoe care. After playing at Avaira Golf Course you might never want to return to your home course. In addition to the sports facilities, the clubhouse features The Argyle Restaurant which seats 70 in the dining room and 50 on the terrace overlooking the 18th green.
